Wild Duck Creek Estate is one of Heathcote’s most distinctive producers, established in 1974 and renowned for powerful, deeply concentrated expressions of Shiraz. Duck Muck is the estate’s cult flagship wine, originally created from exceptionally ripe Shiraz from the Original Vineyard with Cabernet components, and produced in very limited quantities.
The 2022 Duck Muck is intensely concentrated and full-bodied, showing layers of ripe blackberry, dark plum and blackcurrant with spice, chocolate and savoury oak complexity. Rich and powerful in style, it combines immense fruit concentration with structure and a long, persistent finish.
