Egly-Ouriet is one of Champagne’s most celebrated grower-producers, based in Ambonnay and renowned for powerful, vinous Champagnes shaped by low yields, old vines and extended ageing.
The Grand Cru V.P. takes its name from Vieillissement Prolongé, referring to its exceptionally long ageing on lees. A blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru villages of Ambonnay, Bouzy and Verzenay, it is vinified in oak and aged for 84 months on lees. Deep and complex, it combines ripe orchard and citrus fruit with spice, brioche and chalky minerality, delivering remarkable texture, freshness and a long, precise finish.
