Dassai, produced by Asahi Shuzo in Yamaguchi, is one of Japan’s most internationally recognised sake producers, specialising exclusively in Junmai Daiginjo made from premium Yamada Nishiki rice.
The Dassai 50 is the former expression that preceded today’s Dassai 45, with Yamada Nishiki rice polished to 50% of its original size. Clean, smooth and aromatic, it offers delicate floral notes alongside pear, melon and subtle sweetness, finishing fresh and refined. This 1800ml bottle represents the earlier generation of Dassai’s classic Junmai Daiginjo style.
