Torbreck is one of the Barossa Valley’s most recognised producers, known for powerful wines inspired by the great Rhône Valley tradition. RunRig is one of the estate’s flagship wines, produced from old-vine Shiraz sourced across several of the Barossa’s key districts and blended with a small proportion of Viognier.
The 2015 RunRig is a blend of 98% Shiraz and 2% Viognier, matured for 30 months in French oak. Rich and deeply concentrated, it shows blackberry, dark plum and black fruit layered with spice and savoury complexity. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with generous texture, fine tannins and a long, persistent finish.
