Egly-Ouriet is one of Champagne’s most celebrated grower-producers, based in Ambonnay and renowned for its uncompromising approach to both sparkling and still wines.
The Ratafia Champenois is produced from freshly pressed, estate-grown Grand Cru Pinot Noir must, fortified with eau-de-vie distilled from the estate’s own grapes to preserve its natural sweetness. Aged for around four years in barrel and bottled unfiltered, it is rich yet beautifully balanced, showing cooked stone fruit, red berries, honey, warm spice and roasted nut complexity with a smooth, velvety finish.
