Bass Phillip is one of Australia’s most celebrated Pinot Noir producers, based in South Gippsland, Victoria. The Reserve Pinot Noir sits at the pinnacle of the estate’s range, produced from an exceptionally low-yielding section of the vineyard and made in extremely limited quantities.
The 2017 Reserve Pinot Noir is intensely perfumed and deeply layered, combining dark cherry and red berry fruit with floral, earthy and savoury complexity. The palate is concentrated yet refined, with supple texture, fine tannins and remarkable length, showing the structure and complexity for which Bass Phillip Reserve has become renowned.
