Produced by Rockford Wines in the Barossa Valley, South Australia, the Basket Press Shiraz is one of Australia’s most iconic expressions of old-vine Shiraz. First released in 1984, it was created to highlight the character of Barossa’s traditional vineyards and remains a benchmark wine of the region.
Aromas of blackberry, plum and dark cherry are layered with notes of spice, dark chocolate and savoury complexity, leading to a palate that is rich, concentrated and beautifully structured, supported by fine-grained tannins and impressive depth with a long, powerful finish.
